What we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Dance Transit Authority is a trade name of Echo Persona LLC, a limited liability company organized in New Mexico, United States. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Echo Persona LLC, and "the site" means dancetransitauthority.com.
We are the party responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at booking@dancetransitauthority.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site and by email, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It does not cover the websites, streaming services or social platforms we link to, which have their own policies.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the site and answer the people who write to us.
- Information you send us. When you email us about a booking, a business enquiry or a submission, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include, such as your role, company, dates, offers, links to music, social profiles and any attachments.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the date and time. These logs are used to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site.
- Analytics information. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the site, as described in the section on cookies and analytics below.
- A record of your cookie choice. Your browser stores your answer to the cookie banner on your own device so we do not ask on every page.
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send, sensitive information such as government identification numbers, financial account details or health information.
4. How we use information
- To read and reply to your enquiry, booking request or submission.
- To consider artists for management and to arrange and manage bookings, releases and other business for the artists we represent.
- To operate, secure and improve the site, including preventing abuse.
- To understand in aggregate how the site is used, if you have accepted analytics cookies.
- To keep business records and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not use your information for automated decision making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
5. Legal bases for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place that requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on the following.
- Consent, for analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests, to run and secure the site, to respond to people who contact us, and to carry on our management business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and performance of a contract, when we deal with a booking or a management relationship.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies. If you decline, it stays off.
When it is on, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, the time and length of your visit, the site that referred you, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. It uses cookies to tell one visitor from another. Google processes this data on our behalf.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button in the site footer or on the cookie policy page. The cookie policy lists each cookie and how long it lasts.
7. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows.
- Service providers who process it for us under contract, including our website host (Vercel Inc.), our email provider, and Google LLC for analytics if you have accepted analytics cookies.
- The artists we represent and their teams, such as booking agents, labels and promoters, when that is needed to answer your enquiry or arrange a booking or deal.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
- Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights, our users or the public.
- A successor business, if we are involved in a merger, sale or reorganization. We would require the successor to honor this policy.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers operate in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses offered by our providers.
9. How long we keep information
- Emails and the information in them are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows, and afterward for as long as we need them for business records or legal claims. Submissions we do not take forward are deleted or archived on a regular basis.
- Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention schedule.
- Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, which is no longer than 14 months.
- Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it or change it.
10. Your choices and rights
