Cookie policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job. Some are needed for a site to work. Others are optional, such as those that measure how a site is used.

2. What this site uses

The site uses one category of optional cookies, for analytics, and only with your permission. It uses no advertising cookies.

• Your cookie choice. Name: dta-analytics-consent. Stored in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie, and never sent to us. Purpose: remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics so the banner does not show again. Lasts until you clear your browser storage or change your choice.
• Google Analytics cookie _ga. Set by Google only after you accept. Purpose: tells one visitor from another. Lasts up to two years.
• Google Analytics cookie _ga_ followed by an identifier. Set by Google only after you accept. Purpose: keeps track of a visit across pages. Lasts up to two years.

Our hosting provider may also use strictly necessary technical measures, such as short-lived security checks, to deliver and protect the site. These do not track you across sites and do not need consent.

3. Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing optional is loaded until you accept, and declining keeps it off. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings button below or in the site footer.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not stop this site from working. Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site.

4. Changes to this policy

If we add or change a cookie, we will update this page and the date at the top, and ask for your consent again where it is needed.
